Julie is a designer, educator, and curator based in Delft, Netherlands. As Senior Product Designer at the Europeana Foundation, Julie leads user research and interface design for the Europeana.eu collections platform and the common European data space for cultural heritage.

Beyond her work with digital collections, Julie is a curator with a focus on archival practice and a guest lecturer at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) and Willem de Kooning Academy.

Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Julie holds a Master of Design in Interaction Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Her multidisciplinary background also spans digital fabrication, exhibition design, and creative project management. In her downtime, Julie can be found tinkering with tools, reading feminist horror, or sampling a local craft beer.
